We have a unique and exciting opportunity to join the team at Fresh Movement as the Head of Account Management

The Head of Account Management at Fresh Movement will lead the accounts team, ensuring the success of all projects through strategic planning and operational excellence. This role involves managing the accounts framework, overseeing quality standards, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining strong client communications and supporting the overall growth of the company.

Role and Responsibilities

Our Head of Account Management is the ultimate ‘master of ceremonies,’ seamlessly bridging the gap between our clients and project delivery team. As the Strategic and Day-to-Day Account Lead, they inspire confidence and direction across key accounts and teams. Their expertise drives success, sourcing, pitching, and winning new business—not only within existing clients but by uncovering fresh opportunities. They ensure account retention remains steadfast, foster continuous growth through innovative account and business development strategies, and deliver projects that consistently exceed client expectations.   • Account Strategic Lead: Independent Strategic Lead to ensure client relations are maintained and grown in revenue size. 
  • Pitch Response Lead: Lead the creative team to ensure strong ideation and creative response, prepare budgets and costs to ensure profitability of delivery, present and pitch overall response as lead, and win new business both within existing clients. 
  • Revenue Management: Run and Independent Profit Centre with high revenue and profit yielding accounts to deliver ongoing growth and success.  
  • Account Development: Increase Account Revenue by a minimum of 50% incrementally. Pitch as Lead & WIN 50%+ within existing clients.  
  • Client Satisfaction: Strategically and proactively always ensure that client satisfaction is maintained, regardless of circumstances, to maintain and retain our position within a client, as well as their ongoing satisfaction. This includes the changing of client circumstances such as personnel changes, which should always be proactively managed by the Head of Account Management 
Team Management & Development
  • Manage, Develop and Grow the accounts team, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and career development. 
  • Be responsible for risk management.
Operational Excellence & Process Oversight
  • Driving excellence across creative accounts – keeping ahead of the latest developments and effectively communicating what this means for clients. 
  • Oversee Accounts logistics – briefing, planning, creative, execution and wrap ups.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
  • Liaise with sales, marketing, and product development teams to align accounts capabilities with market demands and new projects. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and support overall business goals. 
Budget & Resource Management
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective accounts while maintaining high standards. 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Leadership & Team Management: Strong ability to lead, manage, and develop an Accounts team. 
  • Minimum of 5 Years’+ Experience as an Account Director or Head of Account Management Level, ideally from a creative marketing agency.   
  • Proven track record of successful delivery at this level for Accounts and Projects of a similar size and nature, which are major launches, large single activations top level brands strategic level management.  
  • Proven track record of sourcing pitch opportunities, running as strategic overall lead, and winning such projects on a regular basis both with brand new clients, as well as incremental growth in existing clients.  
  • Ideally the right candidate will have a creative ability, as well as know how to lead and inspire a team to create exceptional campaign concepts and deliver to a world leading level.  
  • This role is a strategic lead role for both an Account Management and Business Development Role, and we expect the candidate to have a depth of successful experience of pitching, winning, and maintain both large clients and large projects at an Account Director level.  
Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven experience in an accounts management role, preferably within a similar industry. 
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or accounts management can be advantageous. 
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounts processes, quality control, and industry standards. 
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
